Iara Costa Leite, development cooperation researcher and co-founder of Articulação SUL, a South-South Cooperation Research and Policy Center in Brasilia, talks about what makes Knowledge Exchange effective for development compared to other more traditional development instruments, and shares her views on the importance of understanding Knowledge Exchange as an expression of both south-south and traditional cooperation.

Iara also comments on the experience of the India-Brazil-South Africa Dialogue Forum, IBSA, and how much has Brazil learned from its experience in disaster relief abroad.
