VOICES OF WOMEN WORLDWIDE TO PRODUCE "LEADERSHIP ROLE MODELS FOR WOMEN & YOUNG GIRLS"

VOICES OF WOMEN WORLDWIDE INC., headquartered in New York, has undertaken to produce the digital HD video TV series programs: "WOMEN WHO DARED ... to become Presidents & Prime Ministers."

While permisisons are being negotiated at the Office of UN WOMEN to start work on the visual portrait of Michelle Bachalet, former President of Chile; the 3-times elected former Prime Minister, Helen Clark, heading the United Nations Development Program (UNDP); former President of Ireland Mary Robinson, and the twice-elected President of Liberia H.E. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and the most recently elected Prime Minister of Australia Julia Gillard.

Never forgetting the political women leaders in the South-South: Indonesia, the Philippines,

"A leader is nothing more than

an expression of the spirit of his or her time ... " Anon

One of the most universal cravings of recent times is a hunger for compelling and creative leadership. Too little is known about what it takes to be a leader, least of all, women Presidents and Prime Ministers.

For the first time in history, the global public will be introduced and presented with facts, not fiction on how women around the world, achieved the ultimate goals of being elected Presidents and Prime Ministers in their respective countries. These vidoe films, accompanied by e-books, will offer important guidelines and more importantly, show what  it takes each woman President and/or Prime Minister to successfully reach her goal. Life-styles will be presented showing what it means for a woman to focus on political career today.

VOWW's team started to develop and traveled extensively, scripting books and visual dramatic stories on how women become Heads of State (Presidents) and Heads of Governments (Prime Ministers) from 1960-2012.  The R & D follows how each woman recalled her personal saga and how she inherited those leadership qualities from childhood to maturity.  The researchers discuss those motivating forces which developed each woman's personality, guiding and leading her towards being "elected the highest designated leader in her country ?"

Each woman's profile represents a unique example of pioneering leadership ! Each leader is seen against the background (national backdrop) of her time and ours. Her life-story will fall across events we all remember, coloring them in a way which will give them new meaning because we will understand them better.

All the women come from very diversified cultures, and strikingly different social, economic and religious backgrounds. Each belongs to her particular national combination of time, place and circumstances.  Several of them are not at all familiar and well-known, nor their historical life-styles, career paths and surroundings, but they will be given an universal context without surrendering those unique qualities of their individual environments.

The e-books and films will show how each women made a difference across the global political landscape, but also how they differed in character and judgement.  The most important essence of their lives is "discovering" their social and economical personalities and identifying" those unique characteristics of leadership that developed from childhood to maturity.

All these pioneering women were "the first" ... and the films will conclude - not judge whether they were good or bad leaders, but discover those secret ingredients that make for leadership.

The format of each film will basically follow those historically written and visual recorded events, where they express their personal goals, their visions as leaders, the causes that they upheld in becoming the supreme political leaders in their respective countries. How they made those little efforts that eventually shaped all the major events that guided them towards political success and finally accomplishing their goals.

This blog invites women from around the world to contribute their own thoughts ... and suggest and participate in-depth explorations, involving a deeper look into their national and internatinal traditions and evalute their own cultures, social, religious and economic life-styles -

Bloggers from around the world are invited to to discuss and agrue those unique global personality traits - which will be compared and contrasted to determine and answer the final question:
