The Task Team in the Vienna High Level Symposium.

During the High Level Symposium on "Accountable and Transparent Development Cooperation: Towards a more inclusive framework", organized as a preparatory meeting for the 2010 Development Cooperation Forum (DCF), held on November 12 and 13 in Vienna, the Task Team on South South Cooperation was introduced to the more than a hundred participants of the event, that included governments, multilateral organizations, aid agencies, civil society, private sector and academia. The spreading was made by Enrique Maruri and Talaat Abdel-Malek, Chairs of the Task Team, whose point was to enhance the Task Team's global networking.

The participation of the Task Team members in this event was fundamental to strengthen the link between ECOSOC and the TT's analytical work and the procesess to collect evidences that allow a better understanding of South South's contribution to mutual accountability, aid efectiveness and transparency.
