Botswana urged India to do more for South-South Cooperation. In a meeting aimed at reinforcing the collaboration between India and southern Africa, the two countries affirmed the need for the developing world to speak with one voice on issues of common concern. Climate change was also discussed, concluding that in this issue at least countries should adhere to the principle of differentiated response in tune with the capacities of different countries.
India and Botswana signed two agreements for capacity-building in agriculture and an exchange program in education.
