Reaching MDGs in the developing countries

- Accessibility and quality of health care services
- Lack of good governance
- Financial constraints for health programs
Actions needed to accelerate progress for reaching the MDGs:
- Strengthening the health systems, focusing on primary health care and integrated delivery
- Ensuring political commitment and inter-sectoral cooperation
- Aid effectiveness and national ownership in development agenda
- Improving quality and access of health care services especially for the most vulnerable population
- Ensuring good governance and transparancy in the health care
- Innovative approaches including use of ICT in addressing MDGs
