Call for Submissions - UNEP SSC Exchange Mechanism

Dear South-South Opportunity Community,

UNEP is pleased to announce the launch of the South-South Cooperation Exchange Mechanism, a go-to resource for SSC case studies, stories, news, events, and discussions focusing specifically on environment and sustainable development (www.unep.org/south-south-cooperation/).

We are now soliciting case studies of SSC projects in this field from governments, NGOs, research centres, civil society, academics, and others working on environmental issues in developing countries. Potential cases to be featured on the online portal should involve the transfer of knowledge, financing, technical support, and/or best practices between at least two developing countries (North-South-South cases are acceptable as well) and be able to demonstrate clear linkages to environment and/or sustainable development.

You can submit your case in one of two ways:
1) Email the title, date, executive summary, and report materials to southsouth.cooperation@unep.org.
2) Submit the above information by registering your email address here: http://www.unep.org/south-south-cooperation/login/, and the clicking the “Submit a Case” tab.

All cases will be reviewed by UNEP's Division of Regional Cooperation South-South Cooperation team as well as the Division of Communications and Public Information to ensure that cases published demonstrate the requirements above. Once submitted, you will be contacted by the South-South Cooperation team, which will work with you to develop the case.

If you have any questions pertaining to the South-South Cooperation Exchange Mechanism, or submitting a case study, please contact us at southsouth.cooperation@unep.org. You are also welcome to send suggestions about potential case studies and to participate in the discussion forum found on the site.

We look forward to your submissions!
