Dear Peter

Greetings from Nairobi. The UNEP South-South Cooperation Unit is carrying out an evaluation of the South-South Cooperation Exchange Mechanism (www.unep.org/south-south-cooperation) to assess user experiences and needs, with the objective of providing insight on how to better promote South-South cooperation activities related to environment and sustainable development. As a South-South Opportunity member, you were invited to explore and get involved with the UNEP SSC Exchange Mechanism. Based on this, we are conducting an on-line survey to seek your valuable input focusing on:

(a)       the quality of various aspects of the platform (appearance, navigation, content, etc.)
(b)       your needs and expectations (utility, affiliations, interests, etc.)

We would be grateful if you could complete the survey by following  this link: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/9H56F62

The survey will remain on-line until 07 August 2012 and requires only a few minutes to complete.

Thank you for your participation.

Dear Peter,

Greetings. I am working with UNEP on their newly launched online resource, the UNEP South-South Cooperation Exchange Mechanism. I am reaching out to South-South Opportunity users who have expressed an interested in environmental SSC to invite them to visit, contribute to, and share with the Exchange Mechanism, the go-to resource for SSC news, events, case stories, and discussions in the field of environment and sustainable development – http://www.unep.org/south-south-cooperation.

If you have an event you are organizing, come across an interesting news story, or have an initiative involving SSC and the environment you’ve worked on, the Exchange Mechanism is a great opportunity to share it with others in the field. Simply register your email here (http://www.unep.org/south-south-cooperation/login/) and then submit. We also encourage you to interact with other users via the Discussion Forum and Live Chat functions on the site.

If you have any questions, you are welcome to email southsouth.cooperation@unep.org.

All the best,

Mwangi Chege for the

Glad to hear it, Peter. Please make the most of this site as you can - it's yours to shape. You can start a discussion group or a forum or write a blog - whatever you feel like contributing. By the way, who were you working with on the training? It's good to know people are advertising the south-south opportunity!
