IPSA MADRID 2012 - Panel "South-South Cooperation between an announced solidarity and foreign policy agendas"

Chair: Prof. Carlos R. S. MilaniCo-Chair: Dr. Karen SmithDiscussants: Dr. Enara Echart MuñozThe 21st century witnesses the emergence of a new type of middle powers in the international system, which results not only in the distribution of material (productive, technological, financial, commercial) and immaterial (cultural production, norms diffusion, diplomacy, soft power) resources at a global level. Hi Dana,

This is a great idea and actually something you could start as a discussion forum. This platform isn't the best for document management, but discussion forums are completely searchable. I would be happy to contribute if you want to take the initiative! I've also forwarded your suggestion to Liliana Parra who you should friend - she's taking over a lot of the community management role from me.

Best,
Aaron

Hi Dana - Apologies for responding so late to you. I missed your note. We will be updating the site over the next month including the resources list. Please share if you have more suggestions - sites, organizations, initiatives, etc... in addition to other books. I'll start a list that then can be added onto by the rest of the community.

Cheers,
Aaron

Dear Dana,

Welcome to the South-South Opportunity! Please contribute with your thoughts or experiences on South-South Cooperation and knowledge exchange. In addition to serving as a general platform for connecting and resources, this site also hosts the Task Team on South South Cooperation. You may want to look into their work - especially the recently held High Level Event on South-South Cooperation.

Best,
Aaron Leonard ~ Site moderator
