Fondo de Solidaridad e Inversión Social, FOSIS, es un servicio del Gobierno de Chile, creado el 26 de octubre de 1990. El FOSIS financia programas destinados a personas, familias y organizaciones que necesitan una oportunidad para superar situación de pobreza en que viven y también a la población más vulnerable del país.

The Solidarity and Social Investment Fund (FOSIS) is a service of the Chilean Government, created in 1990 following the return to democracy. Its purpose is to “contibute to the country’s efforts to eliminate poverty and to reduce the social vulnerability of individual and familias . The programs of FOSIS are Ahmed at social inclusión and the promotion of prodcutive economic activities that offer opportunities to people all over Chile.
