4. What are the benefits of participating in the analytical work?

There are several good reasons to engage in the TT-SSC’s work presenting, conducting and discussing case studies:

• Your country or institution will develop highly relevant expertise and knowledge on SSC and aid effectiveness, hand-in-hand with experts from developing countries
• Country-led work will be supported by a global coordination mechanisms and the regional platforms, in addition to the World Bank Institute
• Country-led experiences will be shared at global and regional events and launched in a publication, with a sensitive impact on high-level policy-making
• Experts are encouraged to ensure excellence by awarding the most committed ones with an invitation to the Colombia High-Level Event in March 2010
• Networks will be built around the TT-SSC, ensuring quick access to other practitioners and decision-makers, especially in partner countries and regional institutions.
