Event Description

The Government of Indonesia, the World Bank and JICA are partnering up to organize a High Level Meeting on “Knowledge Hubs”. Two days of interactive discussions will offer the opportunity to (i) Share different country models for institutional knowledge sharing, (ii) Discuss how political leadership can influence SSKE, and (iii) Learn about effective and tested SSKE implementation mechanisms.

At the technical level, senior development cooperation and knowledge exchange specialists will engage in substantive and highly interactive clinic and market place sessions. In addition, the meeting participants will be invited on a field trip to learn how Indonesia is organizing its knowledge sharing efforts. Lastly, various meetings will take place at the sidelines of the main event days, such as a donor meeting for the World Bank’s South-South Facility.

I would like to express my gratitude to the organisers of this informative, educational and eye-opening event. I learnt soo much and most importantly, I hope to take every lesson and implement, and share it with almost everybody in my professional environment. To the government of Indonesia: I will be back.
